Dates:5th-8th of May, 20th-24th of May and when a group forms.
Level of difficulty: you do not need to have previous experience in kayaking.
Day one: we leave Sofia early in the morning. We arrive in Lefkada in the afternoon and set our camp in a campground. We get our equipment and have a short kayak trip on sunset. The accommodation is in tents in the campground.
Day two: after the morning coffee, we get on the kayaks and head to Meganissi island. We stop for a break on small beaches, and have time for swimming and snorkeling. After this we visit a small village on the island with a beautiful view. In the afternoon we go back to the campground with the kayaks. The accommodation is in tents in the campground.
Day three: a tour by the islands Scorpios, Sparti, Scorpidi and Madouri is ahead of us, and we stop for a break on some of the beaches. In the afternoon we visit the most popular beach on the island – Porto Katsiki. The accommodation is in tents in the campground.
Day four: for the early birds there is an option for a kayak trip to the small island Saint Thalia. We pack our luggage and leave to Sofia, and on the way we visit Nidri waterfall. We arrive in the evening in Sofia.
Recommended period: April -October.
Needed things for the kayaking : clothes for the kayaking, beach towel, long sleeve clothes for the evenings, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen.
Meeting point: parking lot of stadium Vasil Levski.
The program can be elongated to 5,6 days and can be combined with the kayaking round Syvota islands.
