Simitlia – the ancient land of kukeri is an annual kukeri festival held in simitli.
16 groups took part in the parade, including 9 from the municipality of Simitli and 7 guests from different parts of Bulgaria – Piperkov Chiflik, Bachevo, Blagoevgrad, Pernik, Alexandrovo village, common. Pavel Banya and varvara village.
