Rafting on Struma river along the entire Kresna Gorge is a program for people seeking all-day rafting. The length of the route is about 20 km. Rafting descent throughout the gorge combines the adrenaline rushes of the most extreme sections of the river with calmer but very beautiful turns of the river, which has made its way through the gorge for centuries.

In the middle of the route we will take a short break on the riverbank, relax from paddling and emotions, and support ourselves with food. After the break, we grab the rafts and again take down the river. We pass through different rapids, beautiful curves, and above our heads rise both the picturesque cliffs of the gorge and the centuries-old planetes, by the river.

During the trip it is also possible to see the griffon vultures nesting in the area. In addition to them we can observe white and gray herons, cormorants, terns, avlighi, water mowers, bee-eaters and other birds.

The rafting trip is good for stag parties, we can organize transport from Sofia.

Needed things for the rafting trip: swimming suit, t-shirt and a towel.

Level of difficulty: you do not need experience in rafting.

Season: March-October – Spring level of the river (March-July), Summer level of the river (August-October);

Close to Rafting BG there is an option for a hiking to the chapel Saint Mina, from where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Struma River and the beginning of Kresna Gorge.

Rope garden and zipline can be combined with a visit of the Rila Monastery (60km), Bansko (40km), Melnik (62km) Rozhen Monastery (69km), Rupite (54km).
