Arda is a beautiful and extreme river in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains, which grabs us and rips us away from civilization. Rapids are followed by calmer places to have a breath from the paddling and time to look to the side to see the beautiful waterfalls that flock into the river.
Arda River is rarely visited, as it has non stable water quantity, as spring is one of the most suitable season for rafting trip.
Rafting on the Arda River takes 2 days, and rafting each of the days takes about 3-5 hours, depending on the level of the river. Overnight stays are in tents on the impressive Devil’s Bridge. Campfire and brandy are mandatory after rafting for the day. (option for other accommodation – hotels and guesthouses in Ardino town)
