Rafting BG , municipality of Simitli, RC Defileto , RC Raec and RC Bobri have the pleasure to invite you to the official opening of rafting season 2018 on 24th of March. During the period 24th and 25th of March, the second edition of Balkan Rafting Fest will be held on Struma River, in which will take part rafting clubs from Serbia, Macedonia, Romania and Greece, teams interested to get to know our beautiful river.

Schedule:

10.00-11.30 a.m.– Official opening of rafting season 2018 on Struma River and opening of Second edition of Balkan Rafting Festival, media coverage of the openings;

11.30 – 12.00 a.m.– Equipment, safety briefing for the rafting trip on Struma River;

12.00-2.00 p.m. – Rafting trip on Struma River for all who want to join the visiting rafting clubs;

3.00 – 5.00 p.m.– Workshop for the rafting clubs, visiting the Balkan Rafting Festival;

8.00 p.m.–  Party with Balkan music;

The rafting centre is located on E79 from Sofia, about 120km. You pass by the turn towards Bansko and Simitli, you keep on driving about 3km, E79 becomes very straight section, and almost in the end of the straight section, you pass under a bridge. On the bridge there is a sign: RAFTING, PAINTBALL. You pass under the bridge, and take the turn on the right, which is about 100m after the bridge. The same turn is for a metan station. On the rafting centre we have a convenient parking lot.
