In the women’s rafting team of X-Club, a new participant came (Yana Damyanova), who did very well in her first tournament – Eurocup Nish, on river Nishava.

In the tournament took part 6 women’s teams and 20 men’s, from Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and Slovenia. In the discipline slalom Bulgarian women’s team took 12 out of 12 gates, which was made only by 6 men’s teams put of 20.

In the discipline sprint and head to head, the team took 4^th place, and in the downriver took 3^rd place. In the overall results X-club team took the bronze medals.

After this tournament, the team keeps on with the trainings on Struma river and Pancherevo lake for the national tournament, which wil be held in Struma river in June. The first place in the national tournament will give the team the right to go to the World Rafting Champs in Costa Rica in the period 4^th-11^th of November 2011.
