Rafting and kayaking in Greece – a combined program between adrenaline and beach relax on the islands.

Dates: 7th-13th of July

Day one: we depart from Sofia early in the morning. We arrive in the afternoon at Ioannina’s campsite and settle in tents.

Day two: transfer to the Aractus River. Rafting on the Aractus River. The rafting trip lasts about 2-2.5 hours, passing through numerous rapids and through the super attractive canyon of the river, with huge rocks and the river breaking its way through them. In some places, the canyon narrows significantly. Transfer to an attractive monastery in the area, built in the rocks. Overnight at Ioannina’s campsite, a walk around the city.

Day three: transfer to the Voidomatis River, rafting down the river. The river is class 1, but the area is beautiful, and the water is transparent, the river passes into the Voidomatis canyon, under huge plane trees. There is also an opportunity to hike along an eco-trail along the river. Transfer to Sivota, accommodation in a campsite. Overnight stays in tents.

Day four – day six: with the kayaks we make tours of the islands of Mourtemeno, Myrtos and Agios Nikolaos. We visit the most exotic beaches in the area, such as the Blue Lagoon, whose waters are crystal clear, which is why it is also called the Swimming Pool, Bela Vraka beach, which is connected by a sandy strip to the mainland, Mega Amos, Mikri Amos, Dey and others. In the evenings we visit the picturesque resort towns nearby. Overnight stays are on camping in tents. Overnight stays are on camping in tents.

Day seven: for the early birds, we paddle in the morning, then pack our bags and leave the campsite. We arrive in Sofia at dusk.

Suitable period: April-October.

What you need for kayaking: personal documents (international passport or ID card), clothes for paddling (UV T-shirt, shirt or whatever you are comfortable with), anti-burn lotion, hat, sunglasses, outerwear for evenings, beach towel.
