Peak Triglav is located in the Yulian Apls and its height is 2864 m. Socha River is an attractive river, popular with its turquoise colour.
Day one: we leave Sofia in the early morning. We reach the picturesque Bovec Valley and set our camp. The accommodation is in tents in a campground.
Day two: we get our equipment and listen to the safety briefing and we start the rafting trip, during which we have option to cool off in the turquoise blue waters. The accommodation is in tents in a campground.
Day three: transfer to the starting point of the trekking to Triglav Peak. We have a few hours hiking to the hut, during which we see spectacular views. The accommodation is in the hut.
Day four: we climb Triglav Peak, and on the way to it it is possible to see wild goats. We have some time for pictures on the very top of the peak and enjoy the magnificent view in front of us. We hike back to Bovec valley. The accommodation is in tents in a campground.
Day five: transfer to Postojna Yama, which is a karst cave with total length 20570m and depth 115m. The visit of the cave offers the longest cave track – 5,23km. The accommodation is in a guesthouse.
Day six: transfer to Croatia, and visiting Plitvice Lakes. The accommodation is in a guesthouse.
Day seven: early in the morning we head to Sofia.
Recommended period: June-September.
Level of difficulty: you do not need experience in rafting.
