Dates: when a group is formed.
This program is a combination between the programs for kayaking round Diaporos and Ammоuliani island.
Level of difficulty: you do not need to have previous experience in kayaking.
Day one: we leave Sofia in the morning and get to the campground in the early afternoon. We set our camp, get equipped, understand how to paddle and get on our kayaks. We reach Diaporos island, where we stop on a small beach for swimming and sun bathes. We kayak back during sun set. Sleeping in tents.
Day two: after breakfast we get on our kayaks and reach Diaporos island, where we stop on a desolate beach for a break. Than we visit a water chapel and paddle to the small island Agia Isidoros. The paddling for the day is about 4 hours. Sleeping in tent.
Day three: we prepare our luggage and leave the camping. Transfer to Tripiti area, where we put our luggage on the kayaks and head towards Ammuliani island. After about an hour of paddling we reach the first beach for a break. We pass by the small island Nisakia and then we reach the camping. We set our tents and have time to enjoy the sun set. Sleeping in tents.
Day four: we paddle round the small island Arthemis and Pena, we visit the beach bar on one of them. We visit the capital of Ammuliani. Option for a visit of Ourinopoli with the kayaks, which name is Sky town. It is located 1km away from the boundary with Aton peninsular. We kayak back to the camping. Sleeping in tents.
Day five: we keep on with our kayak trip round Ammuliani and the other small island. We stop to enjoy the beautiful beaches, and before we reach Ourinopoli, we enjoy the view of the tower. We finish our trip in Ourinopoli, load the kayaks and head to Sofia.
Recommended period: April-October.
Needed things for the kayaking – clothes for the kayaking, beach towel, long sleeve clothes for the evenings, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen.
Meeting point: parking lot of stadium Vasil Levski.
