Promo combination Struma and Iskar – is a combined voucher for rafting on the two most famous rivers for descent in Bulgaria at an ideal price. The validity of the vouchers is 1 year from the date of issue. Vouchers are without a specific date and can be used on different dates in the one-year period.
Rafting on Struma river lasts about 1.5-2 hours, passing through the longest route of the season – 12 km in spring and 8km in summer. The fun is guaranteed by both the fun instructors, and every season besides the usual suspects we have guest instructors. In the past seasons we have had representatives of Mexico, Peru, Russia, Costa Rica, Italy and Argentina.
Rafting on the Struma River starts from our rafting center, on the banks of the Struma River, where we have a convenient parking lot, away from the busy international road E79. After the end of the rafting, we take you back to the rafting center.
Rafting on the Iskar River is a fun one-day entertainment suitable for all ages. Our rafting base is 70km away from Sofia, with rafting the descent lasting about 1.5-2 hours and passing through 8-10km from the river, depending on the level of the river and the season. On our rafting base we have our own parking, changing rooms, showers.
Needed things for the rafting trip: swimming suit, t-shirt and a towel.
Level of difficulty: you do not need experience in rafting.
Season for Iskar and Struma: March-October – Spring level of the river (March-July), Summer level of the river (August-October);
Meeting point on Struma: GPS coordinates: 41.847986,23.141863, next to the metan station, a few km after Simitli Town.
Meeting point on Iskar: railway station Lakatnik, next to the restaurant ‘The cave’ – about 60km away from Sofia on the road Sofia-Novi Iskar- Svoge – Mezdra or with the train to railway station Lakatnik. GPS coordinates:43.088337, 23.385043.
Package terms: 100% advance payment is required for the combined program, and the trips can be made on different dates during the period of 1 year of purchase. Reservation for both rivers is required in advance.
