Rafting on Iskar River is an adventure that everybody can try – children and adults. The rafting track is a combination between extreme rapids and relaxing in the nature.
Rafting BG provides you all the needed equipment – neoprene suit, neoprene shoes, helmet, PFD, jacket, and before each trip safety briefing is made. During the rafting trip we go through a few rapids with different profiles and difficulty levels, and between them we have time to relax from the paddling. After the rafting trip, we bring you back to the starting point.
Needed things for the rafting trip: a reservation in advance, swimming suit, t-shirt and a towel.
Level of difficulty: you do not need experience in rafting.
Duration of the rafting trip: about 1,5 – 2 hours, depending on the river level.
Meeting point: in the beginning of Lakatnik, next to the restaurant ‘The cave’ – about 60km away from Sofia on the road Sofia-Novi Iskar- Svoge – Mezdra or with the train to railway station Lakatnik. GPS coordinates:43.088337, 23.385043.
In the area you can visit the monasteries Seven Atlas and Cherepishki, the area Ritlite or walk through Vazova eko trail to the waterfall Skaklya.
